Woo 13 Weeks!! (this post is a little late-because today I am 14 weeks but I got busy blogging before anyone knew)
We, like so many other people out there, thought it would be cool to document the size of my belly to see how it changes. I’ll be posting weekly (hopefully) belly pics on this blog and a couple questions to go with each week. Just to let everyone know where we’re at and to keep a personal little record for my future non-pregnant self.
How far along? 13 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 2 lbs
Maternity clothes?: just some maternity leggings from Old Navy.
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: Not sleeping well at night. Usually I wake up 2-3x a night.
Best moment this week: hearing our baby’s heart beat! Such an emotional moment for the two of us.
Have you told family and friends: Yes, family found out around Christmas and some close friends were onto our little secret before now.
Miss Anything?: coffee, sleeping, having energy, not feeling 106 years old
Movement: not yet
Food cravings: Pasta, grapes, bagels, subway veggie subs, pickles (I crave pickles year round though – pregnant or not)
Anything making you queasy or sick: rice and avocado.
Have you started to show yet: yes! It’s just a little bump but it’s there!
Gender prediction: boy
Labor Signs: n/a
Belly Button in or out? in
Wedding rings on or off? on
Happy or Moody most of the time: 50/50. Literally both all the time.
Weekly Wisdom: Someone recommended these really awesome swaddle blankets and said to stop feeling guilty about sleeping in or doing nothing for a couple of hours because there is a time coming really soon where those things will be very rare! (thank you!)
Looking forward to: Our next ultrasound when it will actually look like a baby this time.
